New dog walking trail at Camping Resort Zugspitze

Camping Resort Zugspitze now offers even more comfort for guests with dogs. A newly created circular dog walking trail leads along shady paths directly from the campsite along the Hammersbach stream. Dog showers, waste disposal stations, and dog-friendly restaurants also ensure a relaxing vacation with your four-legged friends.

Camping Resort Zugspitze once again among Germany’s best campsites

Camping Resort Zugspitze has had a very successful start to 2018. The five-star facility near Garmisch-Partenkirchen secured third place in the Campsite Award in the “Location” category and also received the “ANWB Recommended Campsite 2018” award. The resort is also very popular with the public: over 95,000 overnight stays testify to its growing popularity.

Camping Resort Zugspitze is one of the most popular campsites in Europe and ranked 20th in the “camping.info Award 2018.” Over 140,000 guest reviews praise the location, cleanliness, and service of the five-star facility in particular. In addition, the resort was awarded the “ANWB Recommended Campsite 2018” for the first time.

A new, high-quality vacation apartment is now available to guests at Camping Resort Zugspitze. The spacious accommodation combines modern comfort with alpine charm and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. From the panoramic balcony, guests can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains of the Zugspitze region.

A reason to celebrate: 1 million overnight stays

There is reason to celebrate again: on January 2, 2024, we counted our one millionth overnight stay. The lucky guests from Schwetzingen were delighted to receive an overnight stay voucher. The Hassert family has spent many camping vacations with us because they simply feel at home here and appreciate the hospitality of the resort team.

Treehouse opening & double victory at the Campsite Award 2023

Since summer 2021, the tree house at Camping Resort Zugspitze has been delighting guests with its unique Alpine flair and modern comforts. Just two years after opening, it has already won several Campsite Awards 2023. Guests and a panel of experts voted the resort number one in the categories “Best Permanent Rental Accommodation” and “Best Place for Hiking.”

New Rental Cars at Camping Resort Zugspitze

An expanded fleet of rental cars is now available to guests at Camping Resort Zugspitze. Two Minis and a VW bus can be rented directly at the reception desk. This allows guests to explore the region flexibly—without having to move their own camper.
